Washington's loss shouldn't be pinned entirely on Samsonov and Schultz, though: The young goalie made 40 saves and was a big reason why the Capitals didn't lose in regulation. Tampa Bay Lightning
Alex Nedeljkovic turned aside all 32 shots he faced for his first shutout in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. He made his NHL postseason debut in Game 1, which was a 5-2 victory.
Spezza had to be feeling great based on that set-up pass by William Nylander on the power-play. But, Spezza took a little too long to let off the shot, allowing Price to get the stick save. With that stop, the Canadiens escaped the penalty kill unscathed and entered the first intermission with both teams scoreless. Winnipeg Jets

The Habs took Game 1 and have been somewhat unimpressive since. They’re not supposed to win this series anyways, so, meh. Colorado Avalanche
In February, Capitals forward Tom Wilson was suspended seven games for a high hit on Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo. At this time, the league has not announced any type of hearing with the Department of Player Safety or other word of further discipline for Orlov.
The Wild absolutely did not play the best Game 5 of their lives and still forced the Golden Knights to go back to their barn for a Game 6. They will need to not be outshot by like 30 to win this team in case that’s the analysis you’re looking for. Edmonton Oilers
