Brady acknowledged the Week 4 matchup with a fitting analogy. His father, Tom Brady Sr., may have already given Bill Belichick and Co. some bulltein board material five months in advance.
Winning a Heisman and making Riley look like a coaching legend would be a good start.
The former Florida great took the field for his first NFL practice in six years on Thursday and donned uniform No. 85 as he attempts to become a tight end. Los Angeles Rams Rugs
Brown's trainer, Glenn Holt, was also named in the lawsuit, which said Holt also threatened and physically harmed Tumanov and damaged his vehicle. Los Angeles Chargers Rugs
Before the injury, Burrow had validated his draft selection as the No. 1 overall pick in 2020, starting 10 games and completing 65.3% of his passes for 2,688 yards, 13 touchdowns and five interceptions. Dallas Cowboys Rugs
Other ex-Jets in the Hall of Fame -- quarterback Joe Namath (12), wide receiver Don Maynard (13) and running back Curtis Martin (28) -- had their numbers retired by the team. Even defensive lineman Joe Klecko (73), not a member of the HOF (even though he should be), had his number retired. Why should Hill, who wore No. 75 with distinction for 14 seasons, be different? By the same token, offensive lineman Kevin Mawae (68), inducted in 2019, also should be afforded that honor. No current player has No. 68. Detroit Lions Rugs
Link Dallas fans want to be optimistic about the 2021 season after the failure that was 2020. However, the draft class this year may not be the answer. It is often thought that most new players take a year or two to really come into their own within the NFL. That would mean this would the year of players from the 2019 draft and the 2020 draft. Unfortunately, many of the players from 2019 are no longer on the team. It did give the team Trysten Hill, Connor McGovern, Tony Pollard, and Donovan Wilson but outside of that, not many remain. As a positive, Hill and Pollard but showed growth last year before Hill went down with an ACL tear. Even more so, Wilson exploded onto the scene. The 2020 draft class also has a chance to make a major leap with CeeDee Lamb ready to catch the jump ball. Still, that leaves holes on the defensive side of the ball and while Dallas hoped to place the plug through the draft-will the rookies be ready? -AC
