3. Andrei Vasilevskiy, Tampa Bay Lightning. He is the best goalie in the league and he played like it on Wednesday, shutting out the Florida Panthers in an elimination game. The Panthers had Vasilevskiy’s number a little bit during the regular season, but he came through in the playoffs to help be a difference-maker. While he was his usual solid self the Panthers went through a revolving door of three goalies in six games.

Jeff: Colorado over Vegas in 7 Games - This will likely be the series I follow the closest. It’s going to be a heavyweight tilt between Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar going up against Mark Stone and co. This Avalanche squad is probably the most fun to watch around the league and I’m hoping they can push forward here.
Two of three players listed as potential trade targets for the Oilers are set to be UFAs after the conclusion of the 2021-22 season, which doesn’t make their mention completely “out of left field.” With that said, it’s time to play armchair GM. Nashville Predators Mouse Pads
Anthony Beauvillier opened the scoring with a power-play goal for the Islanders in the first period.
All of this leads us to a pivotal offseason for the Blue Jackets. They want to prove that they can hold on to talent as an organization. They should also have plans to acquire more talent -- which isn't always easy to do. This is a team that has operated on a budget and isn't expected to spend a ton of money on Tortorella's replacement. The golden ticket might be landing the No. 1 pick in the lottery -- something that has never happened in franchise history (Columbus had to trade up to select Rick Nash in 2002). But that, alas, is up to fate.

The Islanders will have a chance to close out a playoff series at Nassau Coliseum for the first time since 1993 in Game 6 Wednesday night. Josh Bailey‘s goal in double overtime on Monday gave New York a 3-2 win over the Penguins and moved them to within a win of advancing to the Second Round. Vegas Golden Knights Mouse Pads
Despite an apparent gulf in talent, particularly at the top of their respective rosters, while facing a seemingly insurmountable 3-1 deficit, the Montreal Canadiens pulled off the highly improbable by stunning their nemesis Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 7. Los Angeles Kings Mouse Pads
