As you can see in this un-produced story reel from an arc of The Clone Wars, Cad Bane and Boba Fett face off against each other in another old West-style duel. It shows them shooting each other in the head. Bane gives Boba Fett the blaster mark that gives his helmet a distinctive dent and Boba blasts Bane’s hat right off.
Even if you don’t want to make movies, per se, this sounds like a great way to study Cameron’s work. And make no mistake, Cameron’s work deserves to be studied. I can give Cameron some good-natured ribbing about his Avatar sequels all day long, until the Na’vi come home, but I also recognize that he’s a fantastic filmmaker; a technical genius who understands the craft better than most.

I don’t want to belabor this animal thing, but there are the two things that you mentioned, there are two examples where an external thing made me feel different, made me look different. I invited that and it suggested a different way of being. When you take that leap away from yourself, that’s when things happen and you start to not depend on your understanding of the world but you actually get propelled into something that is new to you, something where you’re awake. That’s the story, to be awake and to allow things to happen to you without a rigid conditioned response. You’re not always getting ahead of yourself, you’re not trading something, you’re living the life.

Former Saturday Night Live performer Jason Sudeikis plays the folksy and eternally optimistic Ted Lasso; Brendan Hunt plays Coach Beard, Lasso’s tight-lipped pal and second-in-command; Phil Dunster plays hotshot superstar Jamie Tartt; Juno Temple plays Jamie’s ex-girlfriend Keeley, who now works on public relations for AFC Richmond’s squad; Hannah Waddingham, who played the “shame” nun, Septa Unella, on Game of Thrones, plays AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton; Jeremy Swift plays Higgins, Rebecca’s flustered lackey who comes into his own by the season’s end; Brett Goldstein plays Roy Kent, a gruff, aging veteran who steps into a leadership role; and Nick Mohammed plays Nathan, a lowly locker room attendant who is given the chance to exert his influence over the team.
That was incredible. My whole plan here was to end talking about Impeachment, but since that’s not happening, what do you want to do next? Assuming you don’t want to hurt your knees shooting aliens, what’s your dream project?
Alan Menken: It was very clear, we’d thrown the gauntlet pretty far. It was also clear within our creative team that everybody was excited about going there.
